- 1891 Census shows Charles living with his in-laws, wife and children in The Case is Altered, High Road, Wealdstone. His occupation is given as Assistant.
Cutting held from the Harrow Observer (date unknown) showing the Case is Altered with Cabs outside. It states that a Mr Montague is holding one of the horses in the picture. This information came from Mrs B L Longhurst, his granddaughter, who at the time of the cutting was living at 35 Oxford Road, Harrow.
